It has been quite a while since I’ve been on the blog, and I promise I will catch up soon, but for now meet the newest members of our garden!

It’s amazing to me how in love Devon and David are. **melts**. You can tell when they look in each other’s eyes (here comes the cheese) that they have a connection that will last life’s many tests. Maybe it’s the fact that they are ALWAYS laughing together. Whatever it is, they’ve got it, and they celebrated their love with 50 of their closest loved ones. D&D, thank you for letting me be a part of your day becoming husband & wife. Here is just a tiny taste of the images from your special night….

So… lucky for me I have the greatest job in the world, often it’s like a holiday at my house with packages coming to the door wrapped in bows. Here is a custom guest book I designed for a couple who ties the knot this coming Saturday. The images are those I created during their e-session in downtown Austin, and this way they have a keepsake of these images plus sweet wishes from their wedding guests.

I cannot wait to be a part of this  Old Pecan St. Cafe wedding.

Oh my goodness. This post could be a lot longer, I had to exercise some serious self-control and not post all of my favorites, otherwise my blog would have crashed and burned. Paul and Haley’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous in every way, from the gorgeous custom rings to the lovely Kindred Oaks venue and the absolutely stunning Maggie Sottero gown, they had everything covered. I only cried once! Oh, and my favorite part….the BOOTS! Yes, what Texas wedding would be complete without a pair of shit-kickers and a little line-dancing? Ah, so much fun. Paul and Haley, I hope you enjoy this small taste of the images from your special day.

What a sweet, sweet family. Aubrey and I have had the pleasure of getting to know each other through the playgroup we attend and I was delighted when she chose me to photograph her beautiful belly and the love that surrounds these children. Although big sister took a few minutes to warm up (she had to skip her chocolate milk and cartoons and was not at all happy about it), she played along beautifully and I just know she’s going to be an amazing sister.

The Shaws will be welcoming baby #2 the second week of November in the comfort of their own home. I am thrilled that they get to experience a home birth and wish them the absolute best in this journey. I cannot wait to meet that sweet munchkin!            Here are a few of my personal favorites, more to come soon…

I thought now that my family has finally received their copies of Dylan’s kinder pics, I can safely share this beautiful face with everyone else. Here is my handsome offspring playing it cool as usual…

Oh my goddess. This couple is way too much fun to photograph downtown! It is generally my job to make my clients relax, have fun and laugh, but Devon and David took over those duties and put me to shame! I learned a few new choice phrases, such as hungry butt (the cooler way to say wedgie), etc. And when they weren’t cracking jokes with eachother, they were kissing. Seriously folks, did I get one shot without them kissing? Thank you David and Devon, I had an absolute blast and cannot wait to be a part of your special day..

I just had the pleasure of traveling to Corpus Christi, Texas for the Texas Homeless Network Annual Conference. When we weren’t running around like chickens with our heads cut off, I was geeking around the bay with my camera gear. The night before I shot the images below, I was walking back to the hotel from the Carolyn Wonderland  benefit concert (holy-talent batman!) when I was struck by the reflections in the water. The water was so still and clear (at eh-hem, 1a.m.) that I couldn’t tell which boat was the real boat, the one above me, or the one below. The reflections of the masts were almost perfectly simetrical and vividly clear. Needless to say, I did not have my camera then. So the next evening I packed up the gear and headed down to the marina. What I saw this night was much different **tears**, but I was given a new set of inspirations. See if you can tell what kept catching my eyes. And for crying out loud, leave a comment. x’s n’ o’s Gina
